May 29 08     29 May, 2008, 10:15 pm Terrific day for two fishermen, water was in excellent shape caught fish on just about everythng that was tried,buzzbaits,flukes,tubes,crankbaits you just could not miss today. numbers were in the mid 80,s biggest smallie was around 19" big walleye caught went 22.2" all around a great day. Late April /Mid May     27 May, 2008, 09:10 pm April was a month that keep us working to get fish, higher than normal flows and some really nasty weather made it tough but rewarding, several good walleye up to 25" were taken,and lots of quality smallies were caught,May started off slooowwww,due to water conditions,but came on great in mid May,numbers increased substancely as the water temp came up,,and we got the big girls a little more often and the spawn finally got going,June is going to be the start of a banner season,hope to see you on the river. April 2008     23 April, 2008, 12:36 am April started off with out a bang,high water canceled our first trips out,but four days later we were on the water,the bite has been sporadic at times but when it was on it was good several 20"+ smallies have been taken,our first walleye came on April 20th, fisherman on the 21st had a banner day,all quality fish and the high point of the day was a 37" muskie caught by a lady fisherman from Maryland, also a huge hybrid bass was caught that day will get pics posted as I receive them,bass are not spawning yet but it will happen soon,more to come. Mid Oct /Nov 3     4 November, 2007, 08:49 am We continued to have good fishing thru mid Oct,lots of good numbers and numbers of quality fish,river reached its lowest flow levels since new river outfitters has been in business, but that in no way hampered fishing. On Nov 2&3 we fished and had teriffic fishing while it was brisk in the morning the water temp was 52dg and climbed to 55 by late afternoon,we got several fish in the 20' range and a couple of nice walleye,really good numbers for the late season fishing,all fish were caught on crank baits and tubes,we will continue to fish as long as the water temp is above 46dg,we had a excellent season and all pointers tell me that 08 will be just as good,we hope to see you on the New in 08. Oct 1/4     4 October, 2007, 09:58 pm Fishing continues to be excellent,we have been haveing days when the fishing was just to good,numbers per boat are around 80+,some 20+" fish have been taken,lots of of quality fish are being caught,and 10 walleye in the 22" range have been taken,River is still very clear and low.
